Pipe a flower like a pro! Learn how to create a rose with frosting with this step-by-step.
A) Separate some of the vanilla icing into a bowl and add a few drops of green food dye.
B) Using the Open Star Tip, put together an icing bag following the directions inside the box.
C) Add green icing to the Decorating Bag.
D) Add “leaves” to the edges of each cupcake.
A) With the remaining icing, add a few drops of the pink food dye. Mix well.
B) Using the Ruffle Tip, put together an icing bag following the directions inside the box.
C) Add pink icing to the Decorating Bag.
A) Beginning in the center of the cupcake, with the widest part of the tip down, create a cone shape with the icing.
B) Next. make the first layer of petals around the cone. The top of the tip should extend above the top of the cone so that the petals are higher than the center of the rose. Squeeze the piping bag and move the tip in a slight arc while you rotate the cupcake in the opposite direction to form the first petal.
C) Continue to create the petals around the previous layer until you reach the edge of the cupcake/ green of the leaves.
Using a piece of the green Watercolor Paper and the Downloadable Template, cut out the Wrapper Templates with the Scissors. Tape the edges together with a slight overlap to fit the cupcake.
Place the cupcakes in each cupcake wrapper.
